SAMESOUND Piano explains which notes form a chord, how one mode differs from another, and why a progression sounds settled or tense. Theory is paired with a keyboard and audio, so every idea can be heard as soon as it is introduced.
The project supports self-study, lessons with a teacher, and everyday music analysis. The reference uses accurate terminology and academic note spelling, while interactive tools handle routine work such as drawing diagrams, transposing material, and tracing harmonic relationships.

The interactive keyboard sits beside the explanation. Hear the structure first, then inspect its notes and function.
Academic note spelling
Enharmonic pitches are named according to context. An F-sharp major scale therefore shows F#, not the algorithmically convenient Gb.
Connected theory
A chord does not exist separately from scales and keys. Musical Context shows the useful next relationship and explains why it matters.

What the site does not replace
SAMESOUND Piano teaches theory and supports practice, but it cannot assess posture, hand freedom, touch, or pedalling. Technique still requires a teacher or careful work with a trusted method.
Diagrams describe a musical structure, not the only valid fingering for every piece. Real fingering depends on tempo, texture, neighbouring phrases, and the composer’s intent.
